Man, feels like a steamroller has run over me. Yesterday I was fixing my sister’s car (Renault Clio -94). Since I had to work in all sort of weird positions, pretty much every muscle is now aching. I ended up fighting with the car for about 12 hours. All I can say is, I hate that car!
Anyway, I did manage to do some work earlier this week. Few bug fixes here and there. Some fine tuning on the tab bar painting and I changed the ViewStyle drop menu so that it’s icon changes depending on the current view style. Also grouping is now available, although it need’s some more work. For example, there should be a way to collapse/expand all groups. You can find a "Group By" button from the Customizer. Also it’s present in the background menu.

CE is looking better and better. There’s only a few things that’s stopping me from calling it perfect. One is silly, but I really want an option for locking those toolbars.. mostly because of the borders that look so out of place. Another is the sorting not being remembered.
Ah, and one other is *very* small; I feel as if the indent between the items (list/details view) and the border on the side (to bookmarks/folders etc.) should be a bit bigger. As in the original explorer.
You probably know all those, though. My real point is this: I love your well-developed piece of software, my good sir.

Would there be any possible way of simulating the address bar in Vista’s explorer?

Not sure if you have Vista, but when you click any open space on the bar, it changes to the actual url. Fairly nice way to go about it.

I do know there is a breadcrumb option in your explorer, I guess what I’m getting at is the actual design of it, as well as the clicking anywhere to go to the other form thing.

- Yeah, there is a lot room for improvements with the toolbars and layout. Ability to change various toolbar settings is planned but I don’t yet know when it’s done.
- I’ll change the indent size for next release.
- I’ve actually hated the current address bar/breadcrumb from the very beginning. Rewrite of the address bar is planned which should make it work little better.

Thanks for the help offer but it’s not needed at the moment. I’ll soon start to implement a plugin support. Once it’s ready there are tons of plugins needed to be done so any help is welcome

wow. what a great leap forward from when i last saw this program! two or three months ago.
just need dual pane and a few other tiny addons and its a full on winner.
