I forgot to mention about that in the post. I removed those actions and added new ones. Use the customizer to remove the old buttons (drag them to customizer) and add new buttons from Tabs category. The Add Tab button (big "plus" sign) vanished altogether from the toolbar. All that remains in it's place are the two separators that used to be on both sides of this button and an empty space... Hovering over the empty space shows you hints of two buttons - none of the which do anything when clicked. Funny thing happened after I installed this version!! The Add Tab button (big “plus” sign) vanished altogether from the toolbar. All that remains in it’s place are the two separators that used to be on both sides of this button and an empty space…

Hovering over the empty space shows you hints of two buttons – none of the which do anything when clicked. See link below for a screenshot:
