Yes I'm installing manually from zip now. You know I also tried installer and got my bookmarks lost with it either. But that was some time before and probably now I got to make another try. This happens in single instance and multi-instance mode. Is there a plan to fix this? The installer will only override needed files and it shouldn't touch your settings. How do you install new builds?

This is a very nice and small multi-tab Explorer I'm using for a few weeks and it's very good for me. But I got a problem installing every new build having all my settings and bookmarks gone. Is there a way to merge them at new build install time? It would be nice if you could specify in the change log at least when tags of xml files of the package are updated. Appreciate your work.
