<strong>@TheQCC</strong>
Yeah, there's something wrong with sessions. I'm rewriting some of the code at the moment and those issues should be solved in next release.

I also miss the "freedom" from XP. It took me few years to move away from win 2000 to XP so it will take a while until I'll install Windows 7 in my work system. However on my laptop for casual use it works fine.

<strong>@Australian Guest</strong>
Thanks for your kind words.

I don't like to promote CubicExplorer too much because it's still very unfinished. Maybe once we get to 0.92 I'll do more promoting.

Impressive coding, functionality, and interface.

Please do continue to develop this so that it will work with Windows 7 RTM.

I see a Finnish flag, so you are from Finland. Linux is from your fine country too.

I loath the Windows (version) File Manager. I store my data on a non Windows HDD and yet Windows File Manage is set up to use the same HDD.

Just one of the problems your software overcomes.

As for a wish list, your software does what it does very well. I run it as a portable application.

There is really nothing more I need, your software is that good.

Please promote it more. It wasn't easy to find.

Perhaps add some info about who you are, what your goals are in life etc, if you want.

Continue software development. You have some very credible skills across a number of areas that culminate in a very well presented and functional software application.

Thank you and all the best.

Windows 7 and Cubic Explorer can co-exist, but session changes are always messed up by Cubic Explorer.
For example: I arrange five nice tabs to do exactly what I want. Learning from mistakes, I un-check the Automatcally save option. Save the session.
Add a new search tab and Cubic Explorer shuffles the tabs and makes others a search tab, the desktop or the last used.

Loading a previous saved session is a mess.

Reverting to the previous release canditate is no help.

This is probably a Cubic Explorer problem and not a Windows 7 problem as the same thing happens on my XP Pro x64 machine.

As for Windows 7 x64 itself, it is just a more restrictive Vista. Even though your are logged in as an administrator, operations are interrupted stating the action needs Admin permission.

To my view, Windows 7 is positioned for the "convenience" user. Most of the XP power features are there, but buried beneath new layers.

This is my second iteration of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and it still is a disappointment.
