So, this week was a disaster and I’m starting to get that same feeling as I had last year before the meltdown. I decided to take few weeks off to build up strength. I’m still checking the forum and email but there wont be any progress on CE until august.

We all hope that you have a very nice vacation and have a chance to “clear your mind”. Taking time off is something everyone must do occasionally to relieve stress and to be with family and friends. HAVE A GREAT TIME.
We must comment that this is a great file manager and I enjoy using it on my personal laptop.

You are doing great job. I honestly don’t see reason for dual pane, and your waste of time and mojo. For all I care, and I’m sure most of us, you can drop that. Focus on other stuff. Stability, speed, oh and very important… custom file association built in CE.

even if i’m not a great fan of dual pane, many users requested it and Marko already did a good job in the preliminar integration of this feature in CE.
his efforts should not be wasted.
after he takes a deserved break he will certainly fix this feature
I have used CE for some months and i love it. It’s the best explorer tool i have found so far.
I agree with Edin. If you implement dual pane it’s my hope that it will be possible to turn off that feature.
I like Sessions and and the lack of dual pane…

I’m sure there are tons of people who disagree on dropping DualView. After all, it’s by far the most requested feature.
Personally I’ve never liked dual pane managers. However, I know there are situations where it makes a lot of sense to have two panes. That’s where the challenge comes. I’m trying to make a dual pane feature that I actually like to use.
Also, there are many other benefits coming from this development. I’m fixing lots of code which will help other features as well.

DualView will be completely transparent. If you don’t use it, you don’t even know it’s there.

Great work on CE. I recommend it to everyone. The customization and features are top notch. Enjoy your time off, we look forward to the next build.
I for one look forward to DualView. I like to drag and drop files from one folder to another, but I don’t want multiple windows for Cubic Explorer. DualView gives me the ability to easily copy/move files without having to have multiple instances of CE. I just gets too confusing when you have multiple tabs in multiple windows. That’s the benefit of the tabbed interface.

There has been some good progress this week. I just woke up and will do some work with CE. Not sure however if CE will be in shape for a snapshot. I’ll write notes (and release snapshot …maybe??) later today (Saturday morning).
