To customize CE you go to Tools > Customizer. With the Customizer opened, you can shift elements of the interface around.

You can also add or remove parts of the interface. To remove parts of the interface, you drag the desired elements into the Customize window. To add parts to the interface, you select an element from the Customize window and drag it onto one of the toolbars.

There are 4 tab types which each have their own Toolbar Layout:

• File View
• Text Editor
• File Search
• Quick View

They can however be forced to use the default Toolbar Layout by setting the following options:

• Options->Advanced->FileView->RememberInnerToolbarLayout = False
• Options->Advanced->TextEditor->RememberInnerToolbarLayout = False
• Options->Advanced->FileSearch->RememberInnerToolbarLayout = False
• Options->Advanced->QuickView->RememberInnerToolbarLayout = False
